Parker is a junior at STEAM Academy in Lexington, KY. Committed to public service and community leadership, Parker aspired to join the Kentucky congressional delegation and is passionate about making changes that benefit all Kentuckians. Parker holds various leadership positions and is involved in several organizations. Currently, Parker serves as the Southeast Region Co-Director, Director of Civic Engagement for the KyYLAC, and Vice Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee of the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association.
Charlotte Harris is a senior at Sayre School in Lexington, with a deep passion for diplomacy and justice for those without a voice. She has pursued these values through her involvement with the Kentucky High School Democrats, the Kentucky YMCA Youth programs, and the Fayette County Teen Court Program. In Teen Court, Charlotte serves as both a volunteer attorney and jury member, advocating for juvenile defendants by promoting justice and fair outcomes. She is also the founder and chair of the Sayre School Democrats, president of the Sayre Student Y chapter, and Secretary of the Executive Cabinet at the first Kentucky Youth Assembly.
Tate Cain is a senior at Grayson County High School. He is the Vice President of Grayson County DECA and the Kentucky DECA Region 2 Vice President of Membership. In addition, he serves as the Grayson County High School Senior Class Reporter/Media Specialist, National Executive Director of the Youth Legislative Action Center, the Kentucky State Policy Director of the American Youth Association, and as the Communications Director of the Kentucky High School Democrats. Outside of his academic endeavors, he is a member of the Grayson County Chamber Orchestra and a consistent participant in the All-District and All-State Orchestras. Last, he is a 2024 Kentucky Governor's Scholar in Public Policy and Administration.
Lailah Ashburn is a senior at Woodford County High School and serves as the Political Director of the WCHS Dems Chapter. She is so excited to be on the state E-Board and she can't wait to see what the future holds for this wonderful organization! In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and doing yoga! She also loves to hang out with friends, her sister, and her dog. At WCHS she's also involved in the Environmental Club and the Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science program (GEMS). She is so thankful to be a part of the Executive Board and the future of the Kentucky High School Democrats!
Hey! My name is Ivy Litton, and I'll be the Programs Director for this upcoming school year. I love speech and debate (extemp on top!!), and I'm also the policy coordinator of the Kentucky Student Voice Team. I absolutely can't wait to work with y'all amazing young people and get started building a more democratic and inclusive version of Kentucky!
I am Ellie Naish and will be serving as the Financial Director for this year. I am an incoming senior at Lafayette High School, active in theatre, and will be serving as President for the thespians honor society this year. I have also been in Y club for the past three years and Class Secretary. I have always been passionate about politics and I'm, very excited for this year with KYHSD!!
