In reading class, Mrs. Enns students read "Bud, not Buddy" and worked to create a museum installation based on the book. Students became the artists who were responsible in pitching a concept to a museum curator team. Mrs. Enns then featured these products on her bulletin board! Check some of the exaples out here!
Students then extended their unit by choosing an important scene from "Bud, Not Buddy", created a pop-up page of the scene, and wrote a paragraph explaining why this scene is important to the plot, characterization, or theme of the story. They also chose to work in partners or independently! Check out their displays here.
