Students in 8th grade have been studying genetics and how heredity passes down throughout generations to create species equipped to survive. Students were asked to incorporate their creativity, ingenuity, and interdisciplinary content standards (Science: 8.LSS.1+2; ELA: 8.W.2,4-6; 8.SL.8.1, 4-5), and engineering to complete their project.
