May the Fourth (Be With You) - STEAM Night 2023
Our Spring STEAM Night took place on May 4 after school. Students and families joined for a Star Wars themed evening where they designed and constructed their own lightsabers.
Special guests Mr. Gipson and Mr. Wiley joined to help facilitate the design process and serve as engineering professionals.

Our Vision
At HSACM our goal is to help students build S.T.E.A.M. skills for those career fields through Project Based Learning and sustained inquiry. Through these methods, they will get to work with experts in different fields and create products that will be displayed here on this site.
What is S.T.E.A.M.?
Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Why S.T.E.A.M.?
All parts of S.T.E.A.M. are all components of 21st century careers. Specific skills include collaboration, project management, self-awareness, and critical thinking. By giving them opportunities to refine these skills, we not only enhance their classroom learning and test scores, but increase their chances of being successful in the future in those careers.
