Social Studies - Various aspects of the Study of human society. Includes economics, history, geography civics
Economics - The branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth.
History - the study of past events, particularly in human affairs
Geography - The study of the physical features of the earth, human activity, including distribution of populations and resources, land use and industries
Civics - the study of rights and duties of citizenship (government)
Constitutional/unconstitutional - Found in or relating to the constitution (constitutional). Not found in the constitution (unconstitutional)
Veto - a constitutional right to reject a decision or proposal made by a law making body
Tariff - a tax or duty paid on a particular import or export
Compromise - an agreement or settlement where each side makes concessions
Federalism - system of government in which the power is divided between the national government and the state government
