Expectations
Homework will be given Monday through Thursday; there is no homework on Friday! Homework will be listed on the weekly newsletter. Homework is meant to reinforce learning, not to put pressure on the adults at home. If homework becomes a point of struggle or difficulty, please place a note on the sheet stating that so a member of the team can find time to work on it! Homework will not receive a letter grade, but will be marked complete/incomplete.
All classwork is expected to be completed honestly and with best effort.
Classwork is to be completed in a timely manner as directed by the teaching team.
Accommodations and modifications will be provided as documented in IEPs.
If students are having difficulty completing assignments, the teaching team will meet to discuss a plan moving forward to see how we can support them.
Unfinished work will be prioritized and worked on throughout the school day when appropriate.
If there is an extenuating circumstance and work needs to be completed at home, adults will be contacted and work will be sent home.
