Welcome to Economics

Course Overview

This is a half-year course that addresses the basic principles of Economics as it pertains to the real world.  The scope of our economic system is broad therefore this course will serve as an overview of our economy, supply and demand and creating a budget.  We will also be talking about saving money, resume building & college readiness. 

Google Classroom

All students will be enrolled in Google Classroom as the learning management system for in-class, hybrid, and/or remote learning. Parents and/or guardians who provide teachers with their email are able to receive email summaries and updates on their child’s progress.  All grades will be published on Google Classroom throughout the course for students & parents/guardians to reference.  If you have any questions, just let me know and I will do my best to address your concerns. 

Students daily lessons and course materials are also posted here (students access only).  

Assignments 

All assignments for Econ students will be posted in the class Google Classroom.  They also will appear on the calendar below.  If there are any questions about an assignment or a grade, please reach out to me so that we can resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
