Advanced Art

The primary goal of this class is to build off of the skill-based learning of the last few years. The students will take their drawing and painting skills and begin to apply them to more concept based, personalized work. Students will begin to find their own artistic voice in their work and will often have the option to begin working in whatever style or materials suit them best. The intent is to have them finish a few portfolio-ready projects by the end of the year and be in good standing to continue on with AP art next year.
