Discipline/Consequences Policy

Mrs. Castner’s Discipline/Consequences Policy:

First Offense could be one or more of the following:

• Eye contact, move closer, student will become aware that I am watching

• QUICK talk with student.  Plan a solution TOGETHER

• Seat change

• Writing assignment to be signed by a parent/guardian

Second Offense:

• Parent/Guardian contact via email or phone call with Detention

Third Offense:

• Conference with parent/guardian and Guidance Counselor

QUESTION TALLY SHEET:  If a student begins to ask several unnecessary, off-topic questions, or speaks out without raising their hand; they will be given a "Pink Tally" sheet to self monitor their behavior.  After ten tallies are made, phone call home with an assigned detention.

ChromeBooks are to be STRICTLY used for classroom assignments.  If a student is on a site not approved by the teacher, the Chrome Book will be taken away from the student for the remainder of the class.
