Introduction
This deck was part of the original decks made for the club. The deck-list came Card Kingdom as part of their Battle Decks, and were chosen for their variety of abilities, lower cost and easier to understand strategies. If you want to find some other lists they have been compiled here.
Key Strategy
The key strategy for the deck is to control the board to stop your opponent setting up a big board presence by countering their spells or removing their creatures, all while slowly setting up your own board. Eventually chipping away at your opponents health and / or doing big damage with the bigger creatures in the deck.
Murmuring Mystic is great for the deck, as for all the spells you're playing you're getting flying 1/1 creatures, and if you have multiple Mystics out, then its multiple 1/1's per spell. Solar Blaze is great as most creatures your opponents play will have even or bigger power than their toughness, so it will remove most / all of their creatures. While it will remove your bird tokens, all the other creatures in the deck have more toughness than their power, and will survive.
