Introduction
This deck was part of the original decks made for the club. The deck-list came Card Kingdom as part of their Battle Decks, and were chosen for their variety of abilities, lower cost and easier to understand strategies. If you want to find some other lists they have been compiled here.
Key Strategy
The key strategy for the deck is to get out food tokens with various creatures and effects, and use them with cards that need food tokens to do certain things, or to gain life.
The best combo in the deck, while its slow, is to get out Witch's Oven and Cauldron Familiar, and sacrifice the Familiar to the Oven using the Oven's ability to get a food token. You can then sacrifice the food token to the Familiars effect in the graveyard to return it into play, and your opponent loses a life and you gain a life. Essentially resulting in a loop but every time you gain one life and your opponent loses one life. You can even block with the Familiar and then sacrifice it, while the creature blocking isn't around anymore, it still counts as being blocked and will deal no damage if it didn't have trample.
There are a few cards that use food tokens for their effects, such as Bog Naughty to make creatures smaller, Savvy Hunter to draw cards, Tempting Witch to make your opponent lose life, Giant Opportunity to get a 7/7 Giant and Feasting Troll King to return itself from the Graveyard to play.
