EXPLORE series of 3 works

THIS TASK IS ABOUT MAKING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE ARTIST MODELS STUDIED.  WHAT ELEMENTS OF EACH CAN YOU USE TO CREATE COMPOSITIONS?

1. Develop and create a range of compositional studies using works that you have created and studied from the artist models already explored. 

   • Start with a series of small thumbnail sketches combining different elements of the 3 artists studied.  

   • experiment with different combinations of elements from each artist's model and consider how you can use colour and texture to enhance your composition.

   • Annotate your compositions, noting what is successful and what needs to change or your thought process as you were developing each one

   • Experiment with media and colour palettes in your visual diary

2. Complete 2-3 successful compositions into finished paintings to complete your Folio board 1
