Panel two is about developing and clarifying your ideas in relation to your Kaupapa and artist models. In the diagram below - "copy" was 2.2, "transform" was panel 1, and "combine" is panel 2
- How will you combine your previous used motifs, symbols as well as elements from your artists models to create a new and individual works?
remember you are trying to show A systematic body of work is defined as individual, related works that form a series or sequence to show generation and development within the art-making process. This involves editing, selecting and ordering work.
TIME ALLOCATION - 7 weeks [32 hours]
LAYOUT - really depends upon how your ideas develop. Again it is recommended that Panel 2 consists of a minimum of five artworks.
There are two basic elements that change in order to move a series forward to the next series:
the subject matter stays the same and the context (location, point of view, colour, composition, mode/style) changes
the subject matter changes and the context stays the same.
REMEMBER TO PHOTOGRAPH EACH OF YOUR WORKS AND INSERT INTO YOUR DIGITAL FOLIO AS YOU COMPLETE THEM, AND ATTACH TO YOUR FOLIO BOARD
