Through studying the five segments of hospitality—foodservice, lodging, travel, tourism, and recreation—students discover how these industries connect people across borders and cultures while building essential cross-cultural communication skills. This course develops global citizens who understand that hospitality is a universal language of respect, service, and cultural appreciation.

French III IV
French III/IV offers French culture and language learners the opportunity to research cuisine and cultural differences between the francophone and anglophone worlds. Additionally, Senora Tobar and I, Madame O'Brien, lead students on a travel abroad over Spring Break, this year to Madrid and Paris, to experience these cultures in a personal and often life-changing way.

Through competitive events, service projects, and leadership development, FCCLA members use Family and Consumer Sciences skills to address worldwide challenges in their own communities. Members learn that leadership, service, and cultural understanding are essential tools for making a positive impact both locally and around the world.
