Hot Tree Publishing loves love. Publishing adult and new adult romantic fiction, HTPubs is all about diverse reads featuring heroes and heroines to swoon over. Since opening in 2015, HTPubs has published more than 350 titles across a wide and diverse range of romantic genres. Temporary Closure of Public Submissions

To better focus on our current catalogue and catch up with our publishing schedule, we are temporarily closing our doors to unsolicited manuscript submissions. However, we remain open to submissions from our contracted authors.

At Hot Tree Publishing, we strongly encourage submissions from authors of colour, LGBTQIA+ authors, and other underrepresented voices in the romance genre. We believe in love in all its forms and are passionate about showcasing diverse stories and perspectives.

Submission Guidelines (When Open)

• Submissions must be no less than 50,000 words.

• Serials of 30,000 to 50,000 words will be considered if all serials have been completed prior to submission.

• No previously published work.

• AI-generated works are NOT accepted.

• We expect polished manuscripts. They don’t need to be perfect, but they should be well-written, properly formatted, and as clean as possible before submission. A strong manuscript gives your story the best chance at success!

We are currently seeking M/F+, M/M+, and F/F+ series novels in the following CONTEMPORARY and PARANORMAL subgenres (this is not a restrictive list and exceptional stand-alones may be considered--we are not open to historical romances, however):

To submit to Hot Tree Publishing, please submit a Word.doc or PDF of Chapters 1 - 3 only.

The document must be named clearly in the following format:

chapters_book_title_your_name

Please also attach--in a single Word.doc or PDF--a detailed synopsis including the genres and tropes and any trigger warnings.

Please do not confuse a synopsis with a blurb. Don't be afraid of a synopsis either. You've managed to write a whole novel, which means a synopsis is a piece of cake. Please ensure you include your name, your manuscript's title, and identify what document it is in the following format:

synopsis_book_title_your_name
