Raise your hand if you want your college paid for!! Pick me! Pick me!
There is an abundance of money available to each and every student at our high school at the national, state and local levels, and too many students are missing out on a free (or almost free) college education. It's my goal to help all of you not only find the best post-high school plan for you, but to also set you up with as much financial assistance as possible. And, in Wyoming, there are more opportunities than most states to make that happen.
Our community has provided our Seniors with an abundance of monetary support to students who are interested in furthering their education. Last year our 2022 Seniors took home over $362,000 worth of scholarships. I cannot emphasize enough that if you don't apply (and fill out the application completely), you will not receive free financial assistance for college. We have plenty of teachers and advisors that are excited to help you along the way, so please take advantage of all of these great resources!

One of our biggest scholarship opportunities is the Hot Springs County Education Endowment Fund. Our school district is fortunate to have donors who see the importance of higher education, and who desire to contribute to the success of all students.
The purpose of the Hot Springs County Education Endowment Foundation is to provide the citizens of Hot Springs County with educational benefits and experiences. In 2016, approximately $60,000 was awarded through scholarships and other funding. Funding for the foundation is through donations and purchases of leaves on the Tree of Knowledge located in the school district auditorium lobby. Members of the HSC Education Endowment Foundation include Alyssa Mascorro, Bev Koerwitz, Breez Daniels, Ciciley Basse, Cortney O'Connor, Dana McDermott, Dustin Hunt, Elisa Daniels, Jessica Benefiel, Karen Sinclair, Kathy Groh, Kent Cordingly, London Jenks, Margaret Stansill and Pam Kerr.
The scholarships offered by the Endowment Fund are open to all graduating Seniors.
