Developing Exam Technique

The students who do best in exams, are not just the most intelligent, they are the ones with the best exam technique

1. Go through your paper and look for 3 examples of questions where you lost marks because you have made a silly mistake. Your teacher will have labelled this as ET.

On your 10 mark challenge sheet, write down three strategies you can use to answer questions better.

2. Follow the links below to an exam question. Practice the question and then watch the video on how to do it properly. Or do both at the same time. The videos show you how to find hidden clues in the question, how to save time and how to write concisely.

Remember: For all AQA GCSE Sciences, it is allowed AND encouraged that you write multiple mark questions in bullet points. This helps to separate your points and gain full marks.
