The team of Manaiakalani Innovative Teachers for 2020 at the first hui/retreat at the beginning of the year.
In 2019 a teaching colleague and friend encouraged me to submit an application for the Manaiakalani Innovative Teacher program ( MIT). The application consisted of an idea that I wished to explore that could benefit the classroom and other school through the creation of a digital tool. This was accepted and in 2020 I had the incredible opportunity to work with a group of teachers all striving to create and innovate in order to make their classrooms and communities a better place.
This website is the culmination of my idea of supporting the teaching of listening in classrooms. It would not be possible without MIT and the feedback and support of many colleagues and friends.
