Introducing Mrs Katie Beer - Music teacher at Hornby High School since 2008. My own passion is musical theatre. I have been performing in musicals since I was 7 years old. I am a trained singer and pianist. I studied music, theatre studies and dance at university.

This year I began performing with Showbiz Christchurch where I appeared in the New Zealand premier of Wicked and most recently performed in Les Miserables. I will be working with the singers and dancers in Bugsy Malone. I love this show, it is so much fun, I played 'Talullah" in my school, production of Bugsy so can't wait to do it again!

Introducing Mr Luke Taylor - Drama and English teacher at Hornby High School since the beginning of this year.

I have performed in a few musicals over the years (though not for a while!) and I have dabbled in some voice acting, stand-up comedy, and live improvisation.

My area of expertise is the voice - if you want to learn to project your voice, put on an accent, or improve your pace and tone, come and see me!

I am also a self-taught vocalist, so I may be able to help you with your singing, too.

Introducing Ms Richardson! The craziest and possibly loudest teacher in whatever room she walks into! This year she teaches Music, English and senior Classical Studies.

I have been performing more years than I care to count and have been in formal singing training since age 10. My most recent theatre performance was in 2017 in MUSOC's production of RENT (as pictured left).

I am excited to work again with all you musical theatre up-and-commers whether it's singing, dancing or general performance,.
