Communications

Communications between drivers, schools, families, and Central Office are critical in providing effective transportation services. The communication expectations between drivers, families, and schools has already been clearly covered in other sections of this website, so this portion focuses on communications between drivers and Division Office.

1. Bus route maps and listings will be sent to the the bus drivers Horizon email address only. It is the responsibility to drivers to log into their division email on a frequent basis to check for updates. 

2. Any information provided is considered private and confidential and should not be shared. It is the responsibility to drivers to log into their division email on a frequent basis to check for updates.

To access your Horizon email, please go to the Division website at www.horizonsd.ca. Once at the website, click on Staff access/Staff portal/Email Login.

• Username/Email address will be: firstname.lastname@horizonsd.ca

• Your temporary password is your last name (Capitalize the first letter) plus the last four digits of your phone number (Smith4658). You will then be prompted to set a new password.

If you are accessing the account for the first time from home, please use the following process:

• Go to:  https://passwordreset.horizonsd.ca/ to reset your password.

• Login with your username and temporary password

• Change your password
