Note to Parents and Caregivers - click on down arrow for message.

We have compiled some online resources that may help you engage your child(ren) in learning practice while schools are closed; however, we do not want you to worry about your child(ren) regressing in school. Your children may not want to follow a learning schedule, for example. That is absolutely fine.

Every single child is in this boat and they will be ok. When this situation is behind us, teachers will meet the students where they are. Teachers are experts at this!

Teachers will be contacting families this week to discuss how we can support the learning needs of students and families in the weeks to come. Teacher-directed supplemental learning will be offered beginning April 20, 2020 — immediately following the Easter Break.

We are exploring options for similar resources for families that do not have access to the internet.

If we can leave you with one thing, it is this: at the end of all this, your children’s mental health will be more important than their academic skills. How they felt during this time will stay with them long after the memory of what they did during the weeks of self-isolating / social distancing.

We are all in this together. We will do our part, with your support. We count on you as much as you can count on us. Stay safe, stay healthy, and take care of each other.
