FAFSA Information

Watch this video for a brief introduction to the financial aid application process.  Please note that the release of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will be delayed this year.  It will NOT be available October 1, but is expected December 31, 2023.

Step One:  The first step to completing the FAFSA is to create your FSA ID. 

FAFSA Help Programs/Resources

College Goal Wisconsin is a FREE event held throughout the state to help families in completing the FAFSA.

The Fair Opportunity Project provides free services for students, including FAFSA application assistance.   Complete the form to the right to request assistance from the Fair Opportunity Project.  See the website below for more information. 

Federal Student Aid Estimator:  This tool provides an estimate of how much federal student aid the student may be eligible to receive.  These estimates are based on the Student Aid Index (SAI), an index to determin federal student aid eligibility.

Wisconsin Tuition Promise

The Wisconsin Tuition Promise provides up to four years of tuition and fee funding for students coming from families earning less than $62,000 annually and enrolling at the 12 public universities other than UW-Madison.  Click the link above for more information.

Moraine Park Promise Program

The Moraine Park Promise Program is designed to remove financial barriers for all students attending Moraine Park Technical College who are eligible to receive a Pell Grant.  Click the link above for more information.
