The website also features a section on FCCLA programs and initiatives, demonstrating the chapter’s active involvement in STAR Events, service learning, and career exploration.
Their teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence earned them a Silver Medal at the State Leadership Conference, qualifying them to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. This project reflects not only their technical talent but also their passion and leadership within FCCLA.
Madison Boyd rose to the challenge of the Leadership STAR Event with determination and focus, dedicating countless hours to perfecting her project. Her hard work paid off at the District Leadership Conference, where she earned a Silver Medal and advanced to the State Leadership Conference.
At the state, Madison continued to demonstrate strong leadership skills and once again received a Silver Medal. While she did not move on to nationals, her success at both levels highlights her dedication, growth, and the powerful leadership qualities she brought to the event.
Samantha Hudson, Journey Hernandez, and Joanna Resendiz teamed up to take on the Repurpose and Redesign STAR Event, a challenge that required creativity, collaboration, and strong time management. On November 3rd, 2022, Kylie Ayers confidently participated in the Job Interview STAR Event, navigating a professional and high-pressure environment with poise. After completing her interview, she anxiously awaited the results at the District V FCCLA Fall Conference.

Reese Walker and Emma Ray dedicated countless hours preparing for their Sports Nutrition STAR Event, focusing on in-depth research, practice, and presentation. Their commitment and attention to detail ensured they were competition-ready for the District V Leadership Conference.
