About Mrs. Rizzardi

All About Mrs. Rizzardi!

This is my seventeenth year teaching and I couldn't be more excited for another great year at Hopkins! I love working with such a great community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators.

I am so excited to welcome you to Hopkins School and the fifth grade. It's a wonderful place to teach and learn.

On a personal note, Mr. Rizzardi and I have three children. Lila is in third grade, Anna is in kindergarten, and Theodore is in preschool. Spending time with my kids is my favorite thing to when I'm not at school! This past summer we were very busy traveling, swimming, and spending time with our extended family.

I graduated from Boston College (double majoring in Elementary Education and Human Development). I also completed my master's degree at BC in the area of Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Teaching English Language Learners- I am a "Double Eagle!" You should know that I am a BC SUPERFAN! I like to spend time going to BC football, basketball and hockey games where I tend to cheer very loudly!

I also love to travel. I have been all over the world and was lucky enough to live and teach in Ireland while I was in college! Prior to the pandemic, my family and I got to spend a little over a week in Scotland. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to hopefully resuming international travel soon.

Finally, I have a confession to make...I am a HUGE New York Giants and New York Yankees fan! I have been all my life! While sometimes it's difficult to root for my favorite teams while living in Boston, I have fun watching games with my friends who are Patriots and Red Sox fans.

So, that's a little bit about me...I can't wait to learn all about you!
