I am currently working on a few different research projects:-

• Creating a Love to Read programme for reception age children and teachers w/ Dr. Sarah McGeown. This project is funded by the Educational Endowment Foundation.

• Evaluating the effect of the Better Start PPS service on parent-child relationships. This project is funded by Liverpool City Council.

• Exploring the impact of book familiarity and book type on children and caregivers during shared book reading using secondary data from the Language 0-5 project w/ Dr. Samantha Durrant, Harry Weaver, & Dr. Kirsten Read.

• On screen expert for BBC's Tiny Happy People Campaign 

• Children's experience, understanding, and use of adjectives.

• How does shared book reading foster children's language development?

• Using virtual environments to investigate children's and adults wayfinding abilities.

• Developing storytelling guides and top tips for parents with Tonies.

• The impact of face masks on children's language and emotions w/ colleagues at Liverpool Hope.

• Investigating the effects of co-viewing digital media on children's learning w/ Dr. Gemma Taylor and colleagues.
