Library databases are digital subscription databases. These databases are different from searching online because all of the content and information found in these databases are written by subject experts and then chosen to be included in the databases by other experts (so you can count on the information being reliable, updated, and trustworthy!). You can only get to them by a paid subscription so you won’t find these sources through a regular Google (or other search engine) search.
These resources are an excellent choice for finding quality and reliable information for your research and assignments! The online databases listed below are made up of well researched articles, books, and digital content. They are written by experts in their respective fields and selected for inclusion in the databases by other field experts. What is an academic subscription database & why use one?
