4th Grade

Our two 4th grade teachers are Mrs.Thomas and Ms. Rolley. They help you learn and you will have fun with these teachers. I have learned that they are fun teachers!

In fourth grade you will do fun things in Science. In Science you will learn circuits and create electricity. You will connect electricity to power things with wire. Another thing we do in Science is we have animals like crabs and frogs that we feed and study!

In Reading you will study and read books and study bullets, captions, and parts of a book. In Math you learn the basics of lines and different kinds of angles. Another thing we do in Math is we learn new ways to do multiplication and we learn division.

In Social Studies, we learn about the Native Americans that lived in Alabama before us. Another thing we do in Social Studies is we learn about the Civil War and how the government works. Some fun trips that we go on in 4th grade are to Montgomery, to the Mayors office, the Capital Building, and the Montgomery Courts. 4th grade is a blast!
