2nd Grade

Our fun second grade teachers are Mrs. Harvey, Mrs. Collins, and Mrs. Coffee.

In second grade you get to go on fun field trips to Stone Hollow Farm, Peinheart Farm, and to the Birmingham Theater to see Jack and The Beanstalk! You also get to read funny books like "Humphrey" and "The Paper Bag Princess." Sometimes you write poems on Fridays using poetry books for inspiration. You also learn how to write in cursive using special worksheets.

In second grade you get play on iPads or the computer if you have indoor recess or after your morning work. You also get to do fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities in the I.Z. and classrooms.
