Mr. Jeremiah Kramper graduated from the University of Illinois in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. He earned a position at Mokena Junior High School in Mokena, IL where he spent two years teaching band, choir and drama and helping at Lincoln-Way East High School. After his two years at MJHS, he then went to Coal City High School in Coal City, IL and spent 4 years teaching Band, Choir, Madrigals, Theater, Theater Tech, and 4-5 grade general music. While there he began the competitive marching band, coached boys soccer and helped begin the girls soccer team as well as worked on his Master's of Music Education. While at CCHS, the band and choir earned superior ratings at festivals and competitions. After completing his fourth year and his master's degree from the University of Illinois in 2006, he earned a position where he is currently, Hononegah Community High School in Rockton, IL.
Mr. Kramper is the Fine Arts Department Coordinator as well as the Director of Bands and completed his Masters in Educational Administration at Northern Illinois University. He currently directs three Concert Bands, a Jazz Band and teaches the Guitar I classes at Hononegah Community High School. In his spare time, he has performed with a variety of ensembles in the region including the Rockford Wind Ensemble, the Beloit College Wind Ensemble and the Starlight Musical Theater Pit Orchestra. Mr. Kramper is also the current director of the Rock Valley College Concert Band.
