Room 7
Room 7
In Room 7, we believe in fostering a classroom where every learner feels safe, valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. Through Whakawhanaungatanga, Ako, Kaitiakitanga, and Aroha, we learn together, celebrate our unique identities, show mana in all that we do, and support one another to grow as confident, curious, and lifelong learners.

Meet Room 7 Teacher
Kia ora!
My name is Mandeep Kaur and students call me Mrs. Kaur, and I am so excited to be the teacher of Room 7 this year!
I believe every child has unique strengths, talents, and ideas to share. My goal is to create a classroom where everyone feels safe, valued, included, and confident to learn. In Room 7, we encourage one another, celebrate our successes, and learn from our challenges because every step helps us grow.
Our classroom is guided by our WAKA values. We build Whakawhanaungatanga by creating strong friendships and working together. We embrace Ako by learning from each other every day. We show Kaitiakitanga by caring for ourselves, others, and our learning environment. We practise Aroha through kindness, respect, and compassion. Together, these values help us grow our mana and inspire us to make positive choices that uplift ourselves and those around us.
This year, we will explore new ideas, ask questions, solve problems, read amazing books, and discover exciting ways to learn.
Let's make Room 7 a place where everyone belongs, every voice is valued, and every day is an opportunity to show our mana and shine!
