Answer: "Ko [Your Name] tōku ingoa." – My name is [Your Name].
"Ko wai tō kaiako?" – Who is your teacher?
Answer: "Ko [Teacher’s Name] tōku kaiako." – [Teacher’s Name] is my teacher.
"Ko wai tō kura?" – What is your school?

Ngā mihi nui
Room 13
Te Reo Māori
What are we learning?
In Room 13, we're embracing the beauty of Te Reo Māori. We are learning to introduce us with a simple mihi, a traditional greeting, to honour our language and culture. To enhance our learning, we watch engaging videos such as 'Mahi Pai' that help us grasp the language in an interactive way. Additionally, we incorporate daily songs into our routine, making our language lessons both educational and enjoyable for everyone.
Here are some wonderful resources for your child to continue learning Te Reo Māori at home. These videos are engaging and educational, perfect for reinforcing what we've learned in class. Let's keep the learning going and celebrate our language together!
