This term, all your maths learning tasks will be on the Maths Task Board.
Log in to your class learning site and open the Maths Task Board – Term 2.
You will see two sections:
Must Do’s – these are your essential tasks that everyone needs to complete. They help build your key maths skills for the week.
Can Do’s – these are extra challenge tasks you can choose when your Must Do’s are finished. They help stretch your thinking and deepen your learning.
Start with the Must Do’s first, then move on to the Can Do’s if you have time.
Work carefully, show your thinking, and check your answers.
Ask your teacher if you are unsure about any task.
Remember: Must Do first, Can Do next!
This week, we are diving into the world of 3D shapes through our interactive slide deck. Students will explore and identify different 3D shapes, describe their features (faces, edges, and vertices), and make connections to real-life objects.
As you work through the slides, take your time to observe carefully, use correct mathematical vocabulary, and challenge yourself to explain your thinking clearly.
Let’s build our understanding — one shape at a time! 📐✨
Geometry Challenge 🔺📐
Head over to our Geometry Taskboard and explore the different activities. Choose a task that interests you and try to complete as many geometry challenges as you can.
Use your thinking, observe shapes carefully, and have fun discovering the world of 2D and 3D shapes, patterns, and geometry!
Here is an online Maths tool for you to practice your number skills at home or at school. Follow these simple steps to get started:
Click on the link to open the online maths practice tool.
Select your topic (e.g., addition, fractions, geometry).
Complete the activities at your own pace – try to challenge yourself, but don’t worry if you make mistakes! We learn from our mistakes.
Keep track of your progress – you can see which skills you are improving and which ones need more practice.
💡 Tip: Try to spend 10–15 minutes each day practicing. Consistency is key!
Happy Maths Practicing! 🎯
