Welcome to Term 2

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope you’ve all had a safe, happy, and restful break with your whānau and are feeling ready for another exciting term of learning together.

We’ve missed your energy, your curiosity, your laughter, and the way you make our learning space such a special place to be. Term 2 is going to be full of new challenges, interesting ideas, and lots of opportunities to grow your knowledge and skills across Reading, Writing, Maths, and all our other learning areas.

This term, we are looking forward to working together as a team, supporting each other, and showing our school values in everything we do. Remember, it’s okay to make mistakes—this is how we learn and improve. What matters most is that we always try our best and keep a positive attitude.

We can’t wait to see you all and get started on another great term of learning in Pod Pou.

Welcome to the start of an exciting new school year! We are thrilled to be your teachers in Te Aho o Te Pou. We are looking forward to learning, growing, and sharing many memorable moments together.

This year promises to be full of opportunities to explore new ideas, discover talents, and build friendships that will last. Our classroom will be a space where everyone feels safe, valued, and inspired to do their best. We can’t wait to see the creativity, curiosity, and kindness that each student brings to our learning community.

2026 - Homai School Notices

Kia ora whanau,

We are continuing to support students in developing their digital learning skills at school. If you are interested in purchasing a Chromebook device for your child to use for learning, you are welcome to explore the brochure attached, which outlines the recommended device and purchasing information.

Please note that purchasing a device is completely optional. School devices will continue to be available for students to use in class. However, having a personal Chromebook can help students with independence, familiarity, and continuity of learning between school and home.

If you choose to purchase a device, please take some time to review the brochure carefully and select an option that best suits your family.
