The internet is a wonderful place where we find all kinds of information about everything and anything - it is so good that we're more connected than ever!
But with the good, comes the not so good. And so to make sure we're safe online, we have the Inter-Yeti to give us all tips on how to be safe.
Click on the link and either read about the adventure yourself or have Stan Walker read it for you.
www.anyquestions.govt.nz is a free, online chat service that helps students with their schoolwork. Between 1pm and 6pm on weekdays, students can logon and chat with a librarian who will help guide their research and teach them valuable information literacy skills.
So if you have any questions and can't get hold of your kaitiaki, click on the link and check it out!
If you would like FREE ACCESS to a variety of texts that you may not have access to, here is a selection of books you can get online.
If you're a senior student and would like more access to books to push your reading mileage, try out this site.
Click HERE to access the website.
Feel like you could do with a little more Maths work?
Log into your IXL account and exercise your brain with some Maths problems. Those new to the school this year, we'll endeavour to get those logins to you as soon as we can.
Make sure that your child has logged on to their accounts and doing the practising tests - otherwise its hours worked that is not tracked by teacher, all gone.
Try the next level up to challenge yourselves, and if you've forgotten how to apply a strategy, go down a level to refresh your memory.

BASIC FACTS - not your thing?
Prototec is a great way to learn those times tables and those addition and subtraction facts that seem to stop us from solving maths problems.
Not only will you learn those facts, but you to challenge yourself by applying your knowledge in a timed-like-test.
