Be careful about games, too -- sometimes websites aimed at kids have games to play. But even though these games are educational, they are not research! These sites have some videos you can watch for information. Although using a database is more reliable, these videos can also be effective ways to find information, and these sites are more reliable than youtube!
Lots of videos on a wide variety of topics
Learning Resources makes products to sell to parents and teachers. They have some good free information videos, but you may end up in their store.
Some good informational videos. This site tries to sell memberships to teachers, so you will see some advertising.
National Geographic for Kids has videos on animals, science, and history.
Sci Kids is a youtube channel with excellent science based videos.
Kidtopia is a search engine, but it also has a feature where you can click on a topic to see videos about it.
