Indicate the recipient of the free score report by June 20 through My AP
Other reminders: On the day before a student's AP exam as well as on the day of a student's AP Exam that AP student does not have to take any test/quiz scheduled in his/her other classes. That AP student should expect to take the test/quiz they missed the day after their AP Exam. If the teacher allows the AP student to take it a few days later, that is between that teacher and that student.
What to expect during AP Exams and how to prepare for Exam Day!
When students sign in to My AP, they'll see a pop-up window prompting them to choose a college, university, or scholarship organization to receive their AP scores for free before they reach their dashboard. Seniors will have to choose a score-send recipient in order to access AP Classroom and their course resources and assignments.
Students get one free score send each year they take an AP Exam, and their score report will include their AP scores from this year and any previous years.
Colleges and universities use official score reports to determine credit or placement, if applicable. Colleges, universities, and scholarship programs that receive scores may also use a student’s information and official score report to contact them about admissions, educational, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
Their official score report will be sent in July, and it will include scores for the AP Exams that they take this year as well as any past AP Exam scores.
The deadline to indicate or change your free score report recipient through My AP is June 20, 2025.
After June 20, there is a $15 fee to send your AP scores.
Students may be able to earn college credit for their AP courses, based on their exam scores. While each college has their own policies on how they award college credits for AP, in the state of Indiana, all public universities must award college credit for a passing score of 3, 4, or 5.
Using the AP Credit Policy Search, students can see how their particular college or university awards college credits for AP. Students can search by AP Exam, or by College.
