Jude Couch, SFS Peru, Environmental Studies & Russian

Hello! My name is Jude Couch and I am an Environmental studies major with a Russian studies minor. I studied abroad during the spring 2025 semester doing the School for field studies Peru program. During my time in Peru, I was able to visit a variety of different ecosystems, indigenous communities, and cultural heritage sites, including Machu Picchu. Peruvian culture is a diverse mix of Spanish and pre-Columbian influences, and is something I will always cherish!

Laura Hoffman, OTS South Africa, Psychology, Neuroscience & Deaf Studies

Hi! My name is Laura Hofmann and I am a Psychology major minoring in Neuroscience and Deaf Studies. I studied abroad in the Spring of 2025 with the Organization for Tropical Studies- South Africa. As part of the program, we got to travel all around South Africa. We got to see elephants and lions in the savanna, coral reefs along the coast, and beautiful landscapes in the mountains. Since I was with a field school there, we did lots of ecology research within the national parks!
