Recycled Materials
Sustainability isn't just about what we create; it's also about what we preserve. That's why we've implemented rigorous recycling efforts throughout every aspect of candle manufacturing. We recycle corrugated materials and use recycled glass containers. We use a “slabber” to sort and reuse excess wax which is grouped by color and type. From repurposing materials to minimizing packaging waste, we're committed to closing the loop and minimizing our impact on the environment.
Soy & Palm Based Wax
We're committed to crafting candles that not only elevate your space but also respect our planet. Consumers can illuminate responsibly with our soy and palm waxes which are derived from renewable resources. Soy wax offers a cleaner and longer-lasting burn, is biodegradable and free from toxins. Similarly, palm wax comes from responsibly managed palm plantations that prioritize environmental conservation and social responsibility. By choosing waxes from certified sustainable sources, we're supporting ethical practices and protecting our world's ecosystems.
Cogeneration Energy
Our manufacturing energy is created by cutting-edge cogeneration technologies to maximize energy efficiency by simultaneously producing a combination of thermal heat and electrical power and re-capturing the thermal energy generated, through hot water and generator engine exhaust, then use the electricity generated to power the plant and use the thermal energy to heat our wax tanks. We are 90% efficient, where we generate 45% of electricity and we use 45% of thermal energy.
Cleaner Energy Sources
We utilize the cleaner burning natural gas to generate power for our electricity grid. Then use heat from the exhaust systems to heat our wax tanks. And because sustainability is an ongoing journey, we're dedicated to continuously exploring renewable alternatives to further reduce our ecological footprint.
