Shoe Tying Challenge!
Shoe tying can be a very difficult fine motor skill for students to learn, but it is so rewarding for students when they finally "get it." Below are a couple videos that provide examples of ways you could teach shoe tying to your students. We would love to see some pictures of students who "got it" over this extended break!

Use the step by step directions below to create your own scoops to play catch with. Once you have created them, students could work on their catching and throwing skills by throwing a ball or rolled up sock if a ball is not available back and forth with a sibling or parent!
Equipment needed: Milk jug, tape, scissors, marker, and a ball (can use a rolled up sock)
