The school prioritises student safety ahead of academic progress. Introducing the Internet and increasing the amount of time students spend online while at school, requires enhanced filtering to manage what they access. Student behaviour and all of their digital interactions are always closely monitored.
The school prioritises student safety ahead of academic progress. Introducing the Internet and increasing the amount of time students spend online while at school, requires enhanced filtering to manage what they access. Student behaviour and all of their digital interactions are always closely monitored.
Every device own by the school has installed sophisticated, AI powered, filtering and monitoring software. Every app used, Internet page accessed, text entry and mouse click is evaluated. Should any of these interactions trigger a condition, an alert is sent to the school's designated safeguarding team. The team reviews all of these alerts to determine if they meet thresholds that prompt further action and potentially, more formal action and/or investigation.
