Students have been introduced to the alphabetical order method of keyboarding! This is meant to introduce them to the entire alphabet with proper finger placement! We are currently practicing for 15 minutes at the start of every class and they are LOVING it! Students are saying:

We will continue to use Typing Agent after we practice the entire keyboard for a few weeks. Students can continue to use typing agent at home, as well. I'm encouraging students to say the keyboarding poem any chance they can and tap it out on their thighs or table. It's a great tool to have when you have to wait but be quiet!

Typing Agent’s Dynamic curriculum addresses the individual typing needs of each student. After typing the first few lessons, it "learns" from the student's typing to determine problem keys to focus on as well as how much text should be in each lesson. Students will now be able to advance to the next lesson even if they have not earned a star on the current lesson yet. They will not be able to advance to the next unit though until they have put in the proper amount of practice time. There are two percentages that students can see within each unit:
