CARE at Placentino
When a student is "caught" showing Cooperation, Acceptance, Responsibility, or Effort at school, a student may receive a CARE card from a teacher, a staff member or sometimes even a peer at Placentino.
PBIS CARE PROCESS
Student receives 20 CARE Cards
Teacher will send home CARE Superhero Certificate to be shared with the student’s family.
Student’s full name will be submitted by the classroom teacher. Our Principal will announce names of CARE superheroes over the PA system weekly (student names are not necessarily announced the same week they reached 20 CARE cards, but all names will be announced throughout the school year.
Student receives 40 CARE Cards
Student receives a star to color and cut out. The star is then hung on the bulletin board outside of the main office by second grade leaders.
Student receives 60 CARE Cards
Student receives a Peppy the Penguin CARE Sticker
Student receives 80 CARE cards
Student receives a ‘At Placentino We CARE’ bracelet
Student receives 100 CARE cards
