We find that organic coaching conversations usually result in the most positive outcomes. While we've structured our initial coaching conversations on recognised coaching models, over time we've become more comfortable, natural coaches. FUEL and GROW are good starting points and linked below are overviews of the models from the Scrum Alliance.
Practice, practice, practice is the best advice we can give. We hold regular coaching circles as a group of Agile Coaches to coach each other, with observers to provide objective feedback. It's a really valuable way to practice in a safe space, with real-life problems or role-play scenarios to test the limits of our coaching skills.
