Google Arts & Culture - Search a huge database of artworks by theme, period or artist. Note that this database is primarily images. If you need articles or essays, search ProQuest Arts below, or our biographies database.

JSTOR - JSTOR is a huge college-level database of social science and literary criticism. You can register for an individual account and read up to 6 free articles each month.
