Theo Dotson

Theo Dotson attended Hamilton Township from 1998-2002. He started wrestling in the 6th grade, and immediately found his niche. He loved the competition, discipline, and individual accountability the sport had to offer. During his tenure at Hamilton Township, Theo was a two-time state placer and won an OHSAA State Championship in 2002.

In his senior year, he went undefeated at 49-0 in the 125 pound weight class. Theo was recruited by numerous NCAA Division I wrestling programs before ultimately choosing to become a Buckeye and accept a scholarship to attend The Ohio State University. There he received two varsity letters in wrestling.

After his third season, he transferred to Cumberland University and joined the wrestling team. Theo made an immediate impact on the team and became an All-American in 2006. He stayed on as a graduate assistant and coached the team to many more wins. He graduated from Cumberland University with a degree in marketing.

Currently, Theo is a medical device sales rep and spends time coaching high school wrestling at Dublin Scioto. Theo has a son named Maddox.

2002 OHSAA State Wrestling Champion (125 lbs - perfect 49-0 record)

Two-time OHSAA Wrestling State Placer – 2001, 2002

Two-time Sectional and District Wrestling Champion

Ohio State University Varsity Letter Recipient in Wrestling

All-American at Cumberland University – 2006
