1. Please have their student login information available for the them on the first day of school. 

2. Make note of any laptops that are not functioning well, then place a heat ticket.

• What if a student forgets their password or can’t login what can the teacher do?​

Teachers will have the ability to reset the students' password and provide them with a new temporary password using the HLP Staff Tool (hlpusd.k12.ca.us) This will set a temporary password and the student can use that to log in and create a new password.​

• What if a student’s account is locked?​

This does happen after too many failed attempts to login. One option is to wait 30 minutes with no attempts at logging in, the account will automatically unlock itself.
