HKIS Coaching Purpose Statement: The purpose of our coaching team is to support the growth and learning of educators and students in an environment of trust, collaboration and innovation.

Coaches:
•Foster a culture of learning within the school community as a response to educator, team, and school goals.
•Support educators in advocating for their own learning and engagement in professional inquiry.
•Provide opportunities for personalized professional learning.
•Have a shared reciprocity to nurture the learning partnership with educators.
•Focus on planning, feedback, assessment, and/or instructional practice to increase student learning and engagement.
•Are always in a partnership role.
