Dear REED Educators!
We are witnessing more and more acts of violence in our society and we are unfortunately seeing an increase in our schools as well. This is sad, frustrating, scary and brings out in each and every one of us a need to act, to react, to do something - to change something !
Only by addressing these issues openly and actively will we be able to reach the students.
Below are some wonderful materials to raise issues, speak openly about how to react to the world, to speak up when you see someone in need and to defend your body and your right to security in school. For students as well as teachers. For everyone.
Safety is our first and foremost civil right. Let's remind everyone of that.
Please use the materials below to guide thought and discussion in your classes on how to STOP physical, verbal and cyber violence in your schools.
