Crosby Middle School

Hey everyone, I am Mr. Reader, I am the AVID Elective Teacher for Lorraine Crosby Middle School. I like to get and keep my students active and engaged with all of the fun things we get to do in AVID. I enjoy making my classroom a fun place for students to come to, and believe me they do have fun. Most of the time the activities and lessons we are doing don't feel like the typical classroom lesson. I joke around, a lot, with my students because I want them to have fun and enjoy my class. So far, I have had zero complaints. My goal is to inspire you to not only want to go to college but to actually get there. At the bare minimum I am also aiming to have you ready for life after school, wherever that may be. As an AVID team member I encourage you to open up your world and think of life beyond the boundaries you see everyday. I look forward to getting to know you all and see you in my classroom.
