Collaboration: Istituti De Amicis
We contacted Istituti de Amicis, a school in Italy, Milan, to share our project with them and have activities about recycling and to make collaboration among the students of the two schools. We have been having meetings together and planned a total of 6 meetings in 5 weeks. It is a wonderful experience to share and exchange personal experiences with students from different countries. All in all, we all live in the same world and we all face the same challenges from different perspectives. Coming together made us realize even more that we are the future and we can change the world together with collaboration.
Our activities will go as planned:
Week 1 -
Meeting, planning the activities, recycling FAQ, and fun facts.
Week 2 -
Details of our project, presentation of our activities, game s and websites as well as useful information about recycling.
Week 3 -
Hisar School students will demonstrate how to prepare reusable shopping bags in a workshop.
Week 4 -
Istituti de Amicis students will make a presentation about their work on recycling, and all the recycling efforts in their school. They will also share their stop motion movie that they've prepared to submit to our campaign.
Week 5 -
Istituti de Amicis students will demonstrate how to make pencil cases from recyclable materials.
Week 5 -
We will work on a shared Google Slides document that has topics and questions that we will set about recycling, COVID19 and its effect on global environmental problems, and our personal experiences in this project.
